‘Am I a Wolf?’ short film has been officially selected to screen at the 2019 International Children’s Film Festival in Bangladesh.
The 8-minute animation directed by Amir-Houshang Moein will be in competition at the International Film section of the film event.
A brief synopsis of the short reads, ‘The students are performing a theater called 'The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats'. Everybody has a role. They are totally getting carried away by their roles in a way that the borders between reality and theatrical performance in now hardly realized.'
Meanwhile, the child acting as the wolf in the story is scripted to be defeated. That makes him feel lonely and annoyed. As he takes his role too seriously, a bit of chaos startles the group. In the end, the presence of other children and his friends next to him take him out of this atmosphere.
According to the official website of the event, the International Children’s Film Festival is an annual week-long film festival which showcases full length features, shorts, and experimental films made for children around the world.
The latest edition of the festival which is slated for March 2-8, 2019, will be hosting some 21 other Iranian titles besides ‘Am I a Wolf?’.
